Celebrating the lifestyle, fun and excitement that being on the water has to offer, Britain’s biggest boating festival is back for its 49th year. Set within Europe’s largest purpose-built marina, the event offers a host of family-friendly attractions alongside live music and thrilling entertainment.

In addition to those on the land, this year’s show will welcome over 330 historic and innovative vessels to its marina, from the awe-inspiring three-masted barque and one of the largest remaining wooden ships in commission, Kaskelot, to a display of the finest yachts built today. Visitors can expect to see luxury motor yachts from leading British boat manufacturers, Sunseeker International, Princess Yachts and Fairline Yachts, alongside an array of sleek sailing cruisers from global brands, Jeanneau, Beneteau and Oyster Yachts. The marina will showcase an array of boating past and future along its 2km of pontoons.

Whilst visitors are free to explore the hundreds of boats on display at the show, they can also enjoy a piece of the lifestyle with one of the many on-the-water opportunities available at the show, whether it be a taste of the finer things or the next adventurous water sport.

Overlooking the Solent, one of the busiest and most renowned sailing destinations in the world, TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show offers people an opportunity to join the thousands of boaters who enjoy its tides every year, putting on a selection of free rides on the latest RIBs, yachts and powerboats.

For the first time in the event’s history, there will also be the chance for visitors to jump onboard the show’s very own passenger boat. Carrying over 200 passengers per sail, hundreds of people will be able to venture on a boat trip of this iconic watery haven, taking in the impressive view of the show from a new perspective and whilst relaxing in the south coast’s famous sunny breeze.

For those willing to don a wetsuit, visitors can get more active on the south coast waters on one of the show’s many kayaks, sailing dinghies, bell boats and paddleboards.

Alternatively, on land is the show’s new Paddle River Experience. An impressive 60-metre purpose-built waterway circuit, the attraction will transport riders to a woodland stream and offer those of all ages and ability the chance to start their canoeing or paddle boarding adventure.

With the summer calendar coming to a close, TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show promises to be the coolest way to extend the season with plenty of opportunities to unwind. Relax at one of the show’s many bars and enjoy live entertainment at one of the two dome stages. Or simply soak up the last of the summer sun, while exploring some of the most incredible boats in the world.
